60 Day Local SEO and GMB Optimizatio
Our 60 day Google My Business (GMB) optimization is ideal for low competition niches and smaller cities. It is a great foundation that will completely optimize your Google My Business Listing. We use industry best practices to help establish your brand, claim your most important directory listings, and start doing some basic link building and brand mentions on a local level. Below is a list of some of the tasks that are performed for our 60, 120, and 180 day Google My Business Optimization Campaigns. This is a great way to get started with Google Maps Marketing.
Keyword Tracking and Campaign Reporting
We set up keyword tracking for up to 5 main local keywords and 25 longtail and buyer intent variations each month. You will receive a private login so you can view your rankings at any time.
The overall progress of our monthly campaign tasks is tracked in a shared project workbook that is stored in a Google Drive Folder. All of your content and reports are also stored within this shared Drive folder that you can access at any time. At the end of each month we will email you a monthly summary of your campaign.
Local Link Building Strategy
We use a custom local link building strategy to help build local relevance and build your brand's reputation. The targets of this campaign include your Google properties, the web page linked to your GMB listing, multiple social brand properties, and key local listings.
Initial Local Visibility Report
When we first on-board a client and start a new GMB optimization campaign, we start by completing a local visibility report that will scan Google's index and summarize your brand's online visibility. We check for consistent brand information (like the name, address, and phone) across the top directories and notes any listings you have not yet submitted. We also give a quick comparison between your brand against your top two competitors in your local industry.
Competitor Citation Audit
This audit will take an in depth look at all of your business citations versus the top two competitors. We primarily use it to determine which secondary citation are most important to create to ensure you are listed in the same places your competitors are.
Essential Social Profiles
We will create and optimize the top 15 social and brand profile for your business. Optimization includes verifying and correcting any business details and adding website links where possible. We also include keyword optimized descriptions and tags, upload a logo, images and videos, and interlink important accounts.
Additional Social and Brand Optimization
We continue optimizing over 25 additional social profile that are must have accounts for your brand. These help to increase the online visibility of your brand. Think of it as additional digital real estate.
USA Big 4 Data Aggregators
Submit your brand information to the big four data aggregators including Factual, Infogroup, Acxiom, and Localeze. This is only available for USA and Canadian companies.
Top Business Citations
We submit your information to the top 45 business directories. Including the top national sites like Yelp, Angie's List, 2 Find Local, City Insider, and Chamber of Commerce. Unique content is added to each of these listings to increase the chances of staying indexed by search engines.
Secondary or Supporting Citations
We create around 40 additional citations that are based on your location and industry to help round out your brand's digital presence. These are also manually built with your business's exact name, address, and phone number(NAP).
Create and Submit a Premium Press Release
A quality news release will be distributed to over 450 news and media outlets such as Google News, Fox, ABC, CBS, CW, NBC affiliated websites and more, including Assciated Press journalists via AP Datafeatures services. Your press releases are even distributed to major media outlets that can include the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, and Chicago Sun Times. The press release will also include a Google Map embed and custom links that are specifically geared toward local SEO.
Create Five Custom Google Plus Descriptions and Articles
Each of these articles are approximately 300 words long and include your company NAP details. They are used on the Google Plus brand page and the About Me description.
Research Google My Business Categories and Optimize Listing
We will thoroughly research your competitors' categories that are ranking for the specific keywords we are targeting. We select the ones that are most likely to help increase your local relevance. Other optimization includes exact NAP details, address settings, map pin placements, hours of operation, and labels.
GMB Photo Optimization
We make sure each Google My Business Listing has a minimum of 20 properly optimized photos added to the GMB Listing. If possible, they should be taken with a smart phone with the geo location option enabled. GMB no longer allows us to geo-tag photos during upload, but we are able to link the photos to your maps listing while sharing them. (Additional info on Google Plus photo sharing below)
Product or Service Posts
GMB posts are a relatively new feature that every business should be taking advantage of. We create a few posts to highlight your brand's top products or services. After testing, it does not look like they directly impact the local search engine results, but they can increase click through rates and help boost engagement and conversions which can help to improve your rankings.
Google Plus Brand Page
The G+ brand page is not always available. It may need to be enabled via the account owner credentials. We set up the Google + brand page if we have access to do so.
Google Plus Brand Account - Shared Photo Posts
We share a minimum of 20 optimized photos via your G+ brand account. Each of these are linked to your map listing, making these posts powerful rich media citations.
Google Plus Brand Account - Public Photo Collections (up to 4)
Create up to four public photo collections that will help boost the local relevance of your geo-tagged photos.
Google Plus Brand Account - Relevant Content Publishing (up to 4)
A series of locally relevant and niche related content is published on your Google Plus Business Page. Each post is shared publicly and contains safe but effective links that help to tie together a number of the more important brand/social profiles and other branded Google properties.
Google My Map with Embed Campaign
My Maps are powerful citations that are owned by Google. One of the many ttactics we utilize, is to add directions from multiple points withing the city you are trying to rank in. Each My Map includes the exact NAP, geo-tagged photos or Youtube video, GMB category titles, links to the business G+ page, directions from the city center and also directions from the most prevalent landmarks in the city.
Indexing Via Google Submit URL Tool For High Indexing Rate
After each task is completed, we always submit the links to Google's URL Submittal tool. This will help to increase the rate of crawl and get more of your online properties a supporting files indexed.
Local Search Marketing
